The National Council of Senior Citizens’ Organisations, Malaysia (NACSCOM)
is a tax-exempt non-profit organisation founded in 1990. Its membership comprises 44 senior citizen associations with a total of about 18,000 members (as at October 2008). NACSCOM advocates the development of policies, programmes, projects and services that could enhance the quality of life and well-being of senior citizens (or older persons) in Malaysia.
NACSCOM does not support and is not partial to any ideological, political or religious creed and is constitutionally designed not to hold any collective opinion in favour or in support of any ideological belief or practice; political thought, movement or organization; or of any religious dogma, custom or practice.
MISSION
To advocate the development of policies and services that will enhance the quality of life and well-being of the older persons in Malaysia.
