NACSCOM Old Folks Centres

NACSCOM has set up 2 Old Folks Homes one in Setapak and this centre in Kota Damansara. These are to house the hard core poor, people without support from children. We provide food and shelter to the old people free of charge.

Life Long Learning Centres

NACSCOM with the co-operaton with IBM had set up 14 Life Long Learning Centres for the benefit of the elderly. In such centre, we have six computers to enable older people to learn how to use the computers. These centres are:-

                   x.       SCA Damansara Jaya 
                   xi.      SCA Kota Kinabalu
                   xii.     Setapak Day Centre
                   xiii.     Kota Damansara Day Centre
                   xiv.     SCA likas, Kota Kinabalu 
 

Day Centres 

NACSCOM had set up 4 Day Centres for the senior citizens to spend their leisure hours profitably and healthily and to enjoy themselves in various activities such as karaoke, line dancing, ball room dancing, languages classes, singing, health talks, music classe, games, health checks, etc. The four centres will be at:-

          (a)      Damansara Jaya
        (b)      Kota Damansara
        (c)      Subang Jaya
        (d)      Setapak.
        (e)      Kota Kinabalu, Sabah (in building process).
